Ahead of the release of Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2, HMV is offering anyone who pre-orders the title extra game content in the form of the TAR21 Assault Rifle and the M486 Assault Rifle, which will be unlockable via a code distributed by the store.

“Vegas 2 is an awesome sequel to the best selling original – game quality and a strong marketing plot is what effects a games sales,” an HMV spokesman told MCV.

“This type of offer allows us to give something back to the hardcore fans who made the game such a success in the first place.”

HMV also recently offered consumers who pre-ordered Xbox 360 title Lost Odyssey 1000 free Xbox Live points (worth around £8.50), a similar deal to one currently being run by Game for Xbox 360 Grand Theft Auto pre-orders, which offers customers 500 free Live points and free Gamerpics.
