Sega making a new Virtua fighter? A game that has been in development hell? I am guessing PSO2 for PS4 and maybe Vita.

Still, SEGA is so useless lately that i dunno.

As for a new Suikoden... i choose not to believe until i see it. Its too good to be true.

If Namco wants to put it there. While Monolith were indeed the developers, remasters are often not handled by the original developer. It would likely be farmed out to someone by Namco.


This is true at the same time Namco expressed they want the original team to handle it but doesn't mean they will go with want they want and more what what they think be easiest to make money. So likely PS4.

Honestly, I'd expect PS4/PS3/Vita. Easy cross platform and you hit the platform most likely to have the original fanbase.

PS3/PS4 are not easy cross-platform...

Nah, it's Namco's IP and they own all the assets from previous games. This was discussed as length on this very site for the last several months..

Doesn't Monolith own ALL Xeno IP's?

If the did, they wouldn't have left the stories of the previous Xeno games incomplete everytime they were bought. IIRC, SE owns Xenogears, Namco owns Xenosaga, and Nintendo owns Xenoblade. If by some miraculous chance they got bought out by MS, they'd start making Xenoguns or something.

Nope, I actually sat down with them a bit during my last trip to Japan. We discussed things and eventually I decided to sell them all the rights to my love in exchange for a copy of the original Xenoblade.
