The incredible first-party games of Sony is my main reason and I think Sony has by far the best first-party games overall. Also, I am a huge God Of War, Gran Turismo and Uncharted fan so I had to buy a PS4 anyways. The better looking multiplatform games are a bonus.

Brand loyalty, I guess or force of habbit. One of the 2. Had Playstations since the start, no backing out now. :P Plus this time it's cool to have one.

Because of future exclusives that will be coming out.

I didn't, and don't plan to for a few more years.

The short answer is that I bought PS4 because of what I had experienced on PS3. I bought it at launch because I knew the price wouldn't drop anyway.

7) Great OS and features like the Share Play.

8) Great Design compared with the awful X1(My taste)

"Oddworld: New n' Tasty". I've since bought "Transistor" (excellent), "Dragon Age: Inquisition" (pretty good), and "Destiny" (so-so). I'm really waiting on "Bloodborne", "Evolve", and "Uncharted 4"
