USA haven't invaded none of the democratic countries in the recent times, so why would they nuke japan out if they made satires and assassination plot movies agaisnt Obozo??? And if NK were able to make a movie about it and release we would just ignore as would Obozo.

Me too... we can disagree a lot about gaming preferences and even wish the death of the competing company in silly vgc posts, but thinking NK is in the right here is quite chalenging for me to accept.

Oh the movies in North Korea are completely controlled by the the dictatorships and the regime, so unless it was a movie about him being god or the savior of mankind, it won't get release. I'm sure they have many movies already trashing everything about us and the western world.  I think you should go to North Korea and live amongst it's grand vision of one person taking a piss on everyone else.

Calling Sony "laughable cowards" shows nothing short of ignorance. It is clear that they have stolen personal information of Sony employees and lawsuits have already started to happen. If they release all that information and put thousands of people's lives at rist, who knows just how much Sony will have to pay.

This is a business decision that has nothing to do with cowardice. How anyone does not get that is truly beyond me.

but guys... Realistic, if we took a step back and looked at this on a bigger scale. What would stop a foreign country of any region from pulling this crap to censor other, More serious, forms of media? obama is right, while this is just a entertaining movie, what will happen when theres a documentary that will bring to the light the darkness of a dictator. I dont think anyones "blaming" because they are now in NO position to hurt there problem even more but North korea just Hacked a major world company from a different reigon that will result in the lose of tons of money and were just suppose to give in? given the worse case scenario, the US is more then capable of natural security. A more , realistic outcome could be another security breach on Sony, which im sure there no prepared for. With that in mind it was logical for them to pull the movie.... given the circumstances

I lived in South Korea for a while. I know what's happening there, and I condemn it. But why go after North Korea? They've done nothing to provoke the west in a long time. Why not go after ISIS or the Taliban or someone who's causing a real threat to western society? In this particular case, their retaliation to what was essentially unprovoked media terorism is totally justifiable. Free speech my ass. You need to tred lightly when you're dealing with that subject matter. The movie was made in bad taste, they messed with the bull, and they got the horns. I would have reacted the same way. I just hope they learned their lesson.

Calling a world leader a bozo and releasing a full length feature movie orchestrating the fictional slaughter of a world leader are two very different things. North Korea as been so quiet lately too. The tention in the Korean Peninsula was calming. Now everything is a shit storm again thanks to Seth Rogen, James Franco, and their rag tag gang of incredibly poor film producing buddies.
