If you wanted to go to school for game design. would u go even if the eventual cost for tuition+housing exceeds $90,000. 

Just asking for an opinion b/c i'm almost in my third Qtr at the Art Institute of Washington for Game Art and Design, BFA.

I'd love to if I knew it would lead to me having a job like Shiggy. Otherwise, no thanks. I checked out a local tech school a few years ago and the guy asked what I was passionate about, so I told him video games. He showed me a video of programming and I about barfed on the spot.

Haha, that's a lot. I'm European and it's FAR cheaper here, luckily. :p I actually applied once. Didn't get lucky, though.. But found something similar. :)

Nah, the chances of making it to a big developer and having a good career are slim. Probably would be at an indy developer with a low salary, plus I read that most programmers and artists dont major in game design, they major in other fields and then are picked up and taught by the developers themselves.

I wouldn't, not my type of thing.
