It makes sense really. The wiiU was getting endless amounts of bad press last year but if you look at this year, there have been quite a few "big" titles on other platforms that came out which were either disappointing/broken/buggy/etc where as the Nintendo published games on the wiiU never really had any of those issues and most games pretty much made everyone that played them quite happy and never disappointing! So, I think its well deserved and it makes sense

See now this what I want to see if Nintendo can maintain. The amount of positive press they've been getting is pretty impressive. If they can keep the press on their side, it could help them greatly long term not just with stabilizing Wii U sales but also with Nintendo's image moving on to the Wii U's successor. Now if they can capitalize on all this positivity moving forward, that could help their current situation a great deal.
