this is more superior to 360's lineup

1. halo wars
2. lost odyssey
3. GTA iv downloadable content
4. Gears Of War 2 (this will more than likely be delayed till 2009)

ps3 has now sold 10.62 million it sold about 3.5 million units more than 360 in its first year at a higher price and not as many good games. It has a good exclusive games in 2008 which will all be probably far graphically superior to the 360 exclusive games. Plus the problem about multiplatform games are almost cleared up COD4 and asssasins creed look just as good on ps3 as they do on 360. (it is even reported the ps3 version has slightly better lighting than the 360 version). you people are running out of reasons to hate ps3. It is at an
affordable price, It has good games coming out in 2008, the graphics are superior to 360, it is a superior media hub to 360 , most of the the multiplatform games dont have framerate issues now and their no longer xbox ports DMC4, Burnout paradise and rainbow six vegas 2 for example. If you
continue to say ps3 is dead and the biggest mistake in gaming you are nothing more than a deluded fanboy.


I usually skip over posts this long if I haven't been in the thread reading while the discussion happens. This time I didn't, and damn you have a lot of sharp points. All of those sharp points are hurting me. STOP POKING ME WITH THOSE POINTS!

At least I know I've made a solid argument when people like yourself can only respond with, "Why you gotta be hater yo?"

Also, don't forget that most people making these PS3 vs 360 lineup lists are hardcore PS3 followers with all the know of what's comming out on the PS3 and little knowledge of what is awaiting the 360. And since a good number of the games on the PS3 list won't do much better than games like Prototype, it's quite clear this is a cherry picked situation in Sony's favor. Why isn't Too Human on the list? If you want a real comprehensive list of what's comming out for the 360, ask someone like Legend.

excellent post filled with FACTS.

PS3 is selling better than 360, theres no denying that.

 

p.s. I'm glad you called it White Knight Chronicles! Not story, like most people.


 I thought it was WKC in Japan, and WKS in NA?

Exactly.  It's obviously the reason that GT5P is coming out in April in NA instead of March like in the EU.  GT5P hitting just two weeks before GTAIV should pull a lot of fencesitters to Sony's side.

You are way too busy trying to reality check.

The reality is Sony has the best lineup announced so far for 2008.  You can judge that by likely review scores based on past games in the series or likely units sold of the games.  I think in both cases the PS3 is likely to beat the 360 this year with exclusives.

I added a few games to that guys list above, but it's not near what Sony has.

I am more curious how PS3 games will do compared to the Wii.  I think the PS3 has a chance there as well considering the few games announced so far this year for the Wii.  RE5 is rumored to be heading out his year according to the latest EGM.  The holiday lineup is already piling up for the PS3 (and 360 has a few).  Animal Crossing and Kirby (also mentioned in EGM) aren't going to hold up to the other 2 systems, and those aren't confirmed yet.

 Indeed, and the new features announced for GT5:P are convincing a lot more people to buy it.

Xbox 360 has still sold more units than the Playstation 3. Right now, that is all that matters. The future is unpredictable.

You're naive if you think that's all that matters. You don't think MS gaming division is sitting in an office saying "How do you think we should rectify this situation? If this trend keeps up our year long lead will be nullified by both of our competition."

Sony - "This is fantastic. What can we do to keep this up?"

Businesses don't only look at current numbers. They look into the future too. If the future is bleak for them (Like getting passed by a console that cost more and came out a year after) they will talk about it in their meeting. I see this trend happening for 6 more weeks (20 week streak is awesome). Even then I'm not sure 360 can take the lead again.
