Forums - Nintendo - Anyone else looking forward to Opoona?

I'd like to say yes, but either decently good reviews or price drops are required first.

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

Hm, I have to agree with Kenology, I'm quite curious about it, but I'll have to see how it turns out first. Also, I don't think I'd be willing to pay full price for a game like this. I'd definitely but it if it was a Wii Ware game though. I think. :p

Unfortunately, I will have too many JRPG to play on the Wii already, so I guess I won't get this one.

I'm definitely buying this one, though it'll not be easy to find money between no more heroes, PES, Smash, Mario Kart and Wii Fit... I played this game already and loved it, though I do understand that the atypical design has a huge love/hate factor.

I really like the look of this one, but review will have to some excitment.Otherwise I'll try to find it cheap later.

Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

I'm on the 'curious yet not totally convinced' bandwagon. It looks like it could be really quirky and fun or just mega-bad.

I'm going to say that most people with a Wii will be too busy playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl to ever release it from the disc tray and insert Opoona. This game would have had a better fighting chance in January or if they push it back to May or June. Personally, I'm not too interested in the direction the game looks like it's going in, but i'll reconsider if review scores prove differently.

no go for me unless it turns into a real surprise.

I might buy it for $15.

I want to see games for the wii aimed at a more mature audiance. I have SMG, but even that is themed a little too young for my taste, not to mention Elebits, and many others with their built-in story books that make you want to puke. Makes me feel like I am playing a game meant for little kids (ok, I probably am). Not saying that I want to see lots of M rated games with foul language like no more heroes either, but would be nice to see more games in between...
