He also undertracked it by 1M when the 10M figure came out. Seems there is over compensation. Due to overtracking now it's undertracking again.

ioi doesn't really yoyo like that though. Also, where is the proof it's being undertracked? I've seen none so far.

Looks to me like he does. That's what led to PS4 being overtracked, after all.

There's no proof on the contrary the Xone is still ahead everywhere in january.

That's why MS changed the Xbox One price after 2 weeks in january because the Ps4 was still losing.

ioi lost his "credibility", when he adjusted last weeks numbers down to below 18.5 million, when Sony's official statement clearly says OVER 18.5 million.

As i've said before, when I made this thread I was new to VGC, when I discovered that ioi had overtracked PS4's numbers by 1 million, I sorta felt let down by his estimations. I was under the impression that he was (most of the time) right, or at least very close to the actual numbers.

Now, I don't bother playing with his numbers, the only thing I'll be doing on VGC from now on is lists.

Don't forget how even after adjustments it was still 9.9M, not over 10M. Sony lies and pads their numbers with 100k-200k every time, apparently.

I would love an answer from him on the matter, I wonder what his reasons are.

I doubt PS4 fir W/E 10 Jan will be adjusted up any time soon. The only movement I'm expecting is a significant down adjustment for Xb one, 50% or more downward adjustment. The drop off in sales must have been huge for MS to react so quickly.

Nah I don't need an answer for that. And it'll get fixed eventually so I don't care. I am curious however on why the PS4 was adjusted down for no reason but the Wii U and 3DS, which we know are overtracked, weren't.
