Well, as an early adopter who isn't going to re-purchase a console I already own, I really hope not.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

it will become too heavy and if they want to make it light and small it would cost more that what it is now and Nintendo wants to reduce the price to make a profit

Not if they remove the disk drive, and the smaller the design, the cheaper the cost require to produce the Wii U, having 2 items (game pad and main system ) is expensive because they have to put on bigger box, more material, more production line, etc. The technology is actually exist and very cheap, i believe they can produce smaller Wii U in two years from now.

changing the format means they have to put both the new and the old formats as well as reproduce the old games in the new format so that everybody can play the games on whichever platform they own.

what they should do is re-brand the console and make both the gamepad and console smaller without adding or removing power. that way it's the same console with a new name and design which won't damage Nintendos relationship with its consumers
