Clearly brings nothing new to the table. Every racing game released in the past decade has had driving conditions like that!

not sure if you're joking but if you're serious my reply would be this:

What more can a racing game bring to the table? Flying cars? Streakers from the crowd? Because there's really not much more that can be done. The weather effects and graphics are a step above anything seen before and the racing is very fun. Can't ask for much more than that.

Disagree entirely

So tempted to buy it but I really want to play through some games of my backlog first. Once I complete GTA V on PS4 I will consider DC if the PS+ version is still AWOL

He's joking ;)

What it can bring is replays. I'm using the record for that feature atm, but compressed 720p doesn't do it justice, nor can you use photo mode after the race obviously. I uploaded a couple more videos, click on the picture for the youtube link (at least that still works). It's just shots taking from the video, no time to activate photo mode in the middle of a race.

Norway Atlanterhavsvegen

Scotland Loch Duich

Scotland Trotternish

Norway and Scotland are getting a lot more playtime from me since the weather patch. Skjolden looks amazing at 7am in the rain and makes navigating the high speed bridges a lot harder in the hyper series. Really have to be careful with the wheels losing grip.

Well, to be fair, isn't this their fault for releasing a game that isn't ready?

Just played the game after the weather update. Mind Blown.

Weren't you quite vocal about how wrong you were to buy this game at launch and you wanted a refund? Lol you were furious at Sony in the PS Nation thread.

Yes I though evo would have learned with Motorstorm:Apocalypse, the online part in Driveclub really REALLY was unplayable and it's a big part of the game. In singelplayer aswell. But this is all now fixed and I've enjoyed it more then any PS4 game since it was fixed and no frustration needed every time I start the game.

Oh and it was at Evolution games not Sony I was furious at.

I understand you as I had the same problems with Driveclub's launch, its most anticipated features weren't accessible. But I never had any problems with SP at all.

It wasn't the only one this year though as games like AC: Unity were far worse. But now that it works smoothly it should be re-reviewed.

The game isn't underrated, the problem was never the visuals which is why most people love playing DC. The problems with the game were the fact it is one of the worst launched broken games ever released, it took awhile before it was completely fixed, it released with no weather effects and very little content and variety in cars. The game was also heavily focused on online racing which wasn't available for so many gamers who brought the game only for that.

Did you even read the OP, or just randomly barge in the thread to criticise a game you never played? Graphics is only part of what makes Driveclub amazing, the most important and amazing part of the game is the gameplay.

As for he content, yeah its not heavy content-wise but offers a decent amount of content.
