look, the reason all the HD console fanboys leave out the Wii is because the Wii's sales are so far ahead of the other consoles sales as to make it irrelevent. Well some of us want something besides Mario games.Yes wii is fun as a family console but for a single game experience I like a console with a little more power. I really enjoyed CoD4 especially in DD5.1 which is the reason I pick Ps3 version over the pc when normally i play FPS on PC only.

I really like to give credit to PS3 and 360. Both are selling good, and PS3 definitely made an important improvement in sales. 360 is doing what's asked: to compete with PS3 and sell more than Xbox.

These incredibly ignorant remarks however really make me happy that Wii sells enormously. I don't mind people not liking the Wii or it's games, I do appreciate it if people care for high-end graphics, but to still say Wii offers only Mario is close to pathetic. I won't even name the other great games around, but I do know, as a "somewhat hardcore gamer" for about 15 years that Wii offers enough great games, not to mention the innovation, to warrant a purchase for a gamer.

The elitist statements, for the record: not only made Smidlee, are very out of place for a console that helps the game industry forward, just like PS2 did, towards a more generaly accepted way of entertainment.

(even if it is often in short supply in NA...)

Overall,

PS3 is doing great,
Xbox360 was mainly (maybe?) in short supply, so it is hard to say anything about the sales for the moment

Nintendo should sell 1 single Wii one week and then flood the market the next week!

Just imagine the % increase there.
