Which looks better

Street Fighter V 30 51.72%

Guilty Gear Xrd 24 41.38%

Other (list which and why) 4 6.90%

Total:58

For anime Lover sure Guilty Gear Xrd look more lovely and after the games MIA in 7th generation and comes with Unreal Engine 4 and cell shaded anime/ old series 2d style, that sure make a lot of fans interest again, especially people who love the franchise on PS1/PS2/Dreamcast/Xbox Original

For general consumer (mainstream ), nostalgic lover, veteran fighter and Western Style cartoon fans, they will definitely choose Street fighter V art style and graphic.

for me Guilty Gear because it's an improvement (big Jump) from PS2 generation to PS4 graphic but still bringing the 2D anime style, unlike Street Fighter that abandon the 2D style art to more cartoonist style.

You certainly put the GG loving group as a lot smaller than SF =~] but in sales that certainly is more likely to happen.

I like GG better.  Omg that SFV cover is so sexy.

SF5 is the more impressive, but GG gets my votes for overall looks. SF's art style has never clicked with me.

SFV looks like a remaster, lol. I expected to see a big improvement over SFIV. That said it still looks better than GG.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I just wish there was a MegamanX game that used the GG engine.

Street fighter, though I miss the Alpha art style

How can you compare the two? They have radically different art directions and they both achieve what they set out to do in their unique styles.

If GG tried to do 3D that looks like 2D, but failed to make it look 2D, then I could say SFV looks better. SFV just... I don't know.. The images look like robot chicken. But in motion, it looks totally different. Each of them are fine the way they are.

Seems like they are reussing the assets... let's hope they improve a little before release or at least for SF VI... altough if they stay cell-shaded there isn't much room for change as it already looks quite good on the tipe of graphic it uses.

Art style has no relation to the game's engine.
