Weren't they the ones claiming Dead Rising 3 will be exclusive to Xbox and not come to PC?

If it is true it seems like a logical step. SF always sold a lot better on PS anyway. Shouldn't be a big financial loss.

SF4 sold 4 million units on PS3, 2.81 on 360. If this is an indicator, it is a financial loss. But we don't know how much Sony paid.

You have to consider the install base. The mass chunk of the game was sold in US. Where the Xbox led 2:1. Despite that the game sold 200k more on PS3.
A lot of people seem to have switched from 360 to PS4 and after this announcement you can be sure that the SF fans will pick a PS4 over X1.

I think if it would come to both the ratio would be atr least 4:1 for PS4. So I don't think it's a big financial hit, considering the bonus from Sony and the saved money during development and marketing.

Seems like Sony paid for stupid exclusivity.

Son, I'm disappoint.

That was when both consoles were even...actually 360 had a lead.

Now that ps4 is nearly double?

Just a prediction, the sales would most likely be 5.4 vs 1.4, and probably even a bit more skewed.

We don't know actually but it would definitely make a difference.

Yeah losing out on even 1 million projected sales on xb one would be more than Sony could afford to compensate. But as a timed exclusive sony could afford the sort of "assistance" that's required.
