This is one of the ways in which Microsoft might be trying to attract GTA lovers to the Xbox 360 over the PS3 in Europe..

According to the article pre-orderers will also receive four exclusive gamerpics.  It makes no mention of a PS3-equivilant, so we'll have to wait and see.

500 points can by a nice little XBLA game, or can be saved for the exclusive DLC I guess.

Does anyone know any pre-order deals like this for America? I never pre-order games because it truly is pointless but if I can get some free points I would get it today.

Keep your eye out, because there are often deals. Especially with Microsoft keen to win gamers over to their platform on this game. My opinion is that if i'm committed to buying a game anyway, I may as well pre-order if it comes with a deal.

The problem is most games don't have deals, and when they do, it's usually shitty ones like an extra weapon in Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Then you don't even get the game on the day it comes out, sometimes it takes 2 or 3 days to get to you and you're not even getting free shipping half the time.
