This could mean nothing in the grand scheme of things if it won't even show up on trackers.

Not sure, but at the very least, at least this proves that the systems popularity is spiking. I haven't seen this kind of attitude toward the U before. It shows also when you talk about it now. People finally know it's the Wii 2 and has more to offer. Those same people see other consoles as "just other consoles"and the U as "what the heck is that, it's cool." Nintendo may have been ahead of their time again and people are catching up.

That is fantastic. It doesnt fit the Nintendo business model I think that a good price cut like this is what really needs to be done. Even if it means that they lose per unit sold.

Not necessarily. The dual screen local multiplayer is not available on any other console and the general public are only becoming aware of it now. Then there is the benefits of off screen play which is every gamer dads dream.
