Does Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes count as open world?? I mean its just a small open world after all =P
So that will be my choice.

It doesn't ktay. I know you like Japanese games but the Japanese aren't good at everything or rather most genres if you ask me except for platformers, sim racers and stealth shooters

But I really dont like open world games like GTA, AC or Watch Dogs. So I guess all of them were shit. Guess I will have to wait for FFXV and MGSV to finally get a great open world expirience.

Also genres Japan kills at:
-Platformers
-RPG (Action, turn based, strategy, Monster Hunter type games)
-Sim Racer
-Kart Racer
-Hack and Slash
-Puzzle
-Stealth TPS (really just MGS here =P )
-Dating Sim
-Visual Novel
-Fighters
-and more... got sick of listing them =P

You can still try Infamous: Second Son, its a lot of fun.

As for your list:

1. Platformers: As I said they do. NSMB is easily the best platformer series.
2. RPG (Action, turn based, strategy, Monster Hunter type games): Pokemon is the only JRPG which I like. I prefer WRPG's.
3. Sim Racer: Again as I said, Gran Turismo is by far the best.
4. Kart Racer: Well I missed this one, MK is the only good one.
5. Hack and Slash: I disagree. God Of War is far better than anything Bayonetta and DMC can ever imagine. But both Bayonetta and DMC are still pretty good.
6. Puzzle: Don't know much about this genre.
7. Stealth TPS (really just MGS here =P ): Again as I said, MGS is easily the best.
8. Dating Sim : Didn't know that such a genre exists.
9. Visual Novel: Again didn't know such a genre exists.
10. Fighters: Yeah I agree, Tekken is my favourite, though Mortal Kombat is also very good.
