Sony fans are content with their high end consoles, the PSP concept was cool but that faded once smartphones arrived.  NintendOwns HH gaming, only thing left to do is satisfy their console gamers with a more powerful HH (as well as option to play on tvs/xternal monitors).  Nintendo has to have a united front moving forward.

What they are told to? I highly doubt people buy Call of Duty every year because Activision tells them to. No one is dumb enough to willingly waste money simply because someone told them to. No one is holding a gun to their heads. Just because you think certain games shouldn't be bought doesn't mean that other people don't find some kind of enjoyment out of it.

You're going all over the place with your arguement here but from what I'm understanding the games you like are of high quality and the games you don't are either low quality or they are only doing well because people are mindless drones. Neither is true, people can rag on Call of Duty as much as they possibly can but at the end of the day there is a market for those games. Just like some people like playing a kart game like Mario Kart or Sonic Racing, some people enjoy playing a first person shooter with their buddies.

People really need to stop with the "drop the gamepad" nonsense.

2. It's fully ingrained in the system and just about all of it's games. Especially Nintendo games.

You certainly could make an argument that they need to drop the price again next year, for sure. They do. But they do not need to get rid of the controller. The GamePad has never been the problem to begin with.

It just needs to take more time releasing it's First party games. I mean c'mon, now is the best time to put in production Metroid and F-Zero.. I know Nintendo is all about quality, but I think it's project management needs fixing in terms of getting its software out quicker on the same budget.

Nintendo has been here before, no doubt, and I'm sure they've learned their lesson. They're not going down without a fight, guys. We've seen what they can do when a company invests its time into a product. Thing is.. they've only got about 3-4 more years until the product's life cycle is over. Let's see something they can bring to the table that is backwards compatible with Wii U.

No wonder why Nintendo is going into product development early.

Selling the Wii U without the Gamepad would be a big middle finger to those who have the Wii U already. It would signify that Nintendo are going to drop support for the Gamepad and no longer use it as a central feature in any of their games. Instead their plan for 2015 is absolutely the correct one - double down on the Gamepad.

like i said 2 or 3 time on the last page,  there is nothing wrong with buying, playing and enjoying a game with realy bad quality.

not every high quality game sales well because of a lot of possible reasons, and a low quality game can sale a lot

and cod mp is fine if u play it with friends, its a fun casual fps, same goes for halo.  

your right quality and sales arent the same. One is subjective one is objective. No doesnt neccesarily determine the other and vice versa.

dont underestimate the stupidity of people^^.  why should u upgrade your game every year if its good and not much is changing?

the annual franchises are all selling on ads and hype, not because they are the best games in the genre. 

Well, I do think Ninty is slowly slowly dying, but they can turnaround.

They need to adapt to the core market, and continue to EXPAND into other areas like health (QOL) , phones (pokemon games, future eshop app?) and movies/tv. (Fatal Frame Film, Pikmin Shorts.)

But then on the gaming side, Nintendo won't be as they are now to make people actually CARE. - I wouldn't mind as long as Ninty are on the 'cool' side.
