All that made square enix good is either at Eidos or Nintendo (monolith soft). Nintendo follows the devs not the publishers.

I would LOVE for it to be a Parasite Eve or Chrono reboot for Wii U. Chrono in particular has the kind of oldschool brand power to sell well despite the Wii U being a weak platform, and I can see the gamepad being a useful feature for any Square Enix RPG.

But yeah, the correct thing for S-E to do is launch it for PS4/X1. It's sad. It's probably not the best thing to make the best game, but it's what will make Square Enix the most money.
