Man this is so sad this is what passes as good news for the xbone relative to the ps4. They might win an npd in nov and or dec at best, and a few weeks in the uk which is a tiny fraction of the overall european markets total numbers. I guess whatever makes people happy enjoy these small victories cause after the holidays its just gonna go back to the way it was the first 10 months except microsoft will eventually run out of price drops and free games to artifically boost their sagging numbers.

Is there a point to this downplaying? Its pretty sad.

Xeno speaks the truth, what ever his motivation. Pretty sad is you taking the truth so personally.  Is he not allowed to post anything but your supported hey X1 did nice for a week lets all high five and pat each other on the back for 10 pages.

Cause there is nothing here, this isint a sign of things to come its a seasonal anomly, and cherry picking small portions of larger teritories for some small nugget of positive news when the overhall forecast is sony for 3rd time in 4 generation is crushing the competitions sales even without price cuts, free games or a better librairy.

So Xbox One reaching 1 million in the UK isn't newsworthy because PS4 already did it? That makes 0 sense.

Im talking about the euopean market overall which the uk is a smaller part of the total sales obviously, and yes milestones dont mean as much when your competition beats you to them.

So every single piece of news we get from UK is irrelevant? Whatever, I'm not even gonna encourage this.

Remember it's a marathon not a sprint.

UK is just the biggest market in Europe. And when you couple big numbers there with US's, usually consoles show a pretty healthy global marketshare. Capisce?

It is when compared to the overall picture in europe since launch or total global sales thats correct.  When they overtake sony in the uk or america or anywhere for that matter in total sales thats a real story cause that shows growth and competiveness on a consistent basis, if you just do it for small pockets of time here and again they are in fact just small victories like i said in my original post not a bad thing im just pointing out ther reality.

The fact that the XOne hasn´t failed against all odds is disruptive to some, it seems.

Second year will be a total different battle.

They have not won even a single global week even with multiple price cuts, exclusive titles, free games, and an expansion into china its about marketplace yes and microsoft has yet to show they can accomplish such a feat, when they do come talk to me, and i will admit i was wrong but we both no that will never happen your just in denial.
