So this effectively makes the price of Xbone console less than 200 dollars right?

A 300$ price drop in less than a year, and they still couldnt come out on top

Yeah. While pricecut helps Xbox One and there is no doubt about it. But I am curious to see how it sells in Q1 2015 without these discounts. Its all about positioning and perception. If people perceive Xbox One is of low value compared to PS4 (which already they are) sales will stall.

Jesus, that's more than half the initial pricetag or half of the initial price of the X1-only SKU!!

Yeah they are trying really hard with these prices and with moneyhatting AC:U and Tomb Raider, I wonder how much money are they bleeding on Xbox

These types of deal make me think VGC is way over on NDP. If XB1 was selling so well why are they selling it bargain bin prices?



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
