Forums - Sales - yet another November NPD opinion

There are a lot of November sales conversations going on right now so I just wanted to throw my opinion out there. Most seem to think the X1 has won November hands down but I still say Sony has a good chance this month. MS did their big November price cut and bundles very early and saw a huge spike in sales from it. They sold nearly 300k X1s the first week of November (not entirely relevant but still were outsold by the PS4 WW that week) while the PS4 sold over 150K in the US. What that tells us is that despite X1s sales spike it didn't actually hurt PS4 sales since it still sold well. The X1 outsold it by less than 150K which is a great number for the X1 but not impossible for the PS4 to overcome this month. PS4 is still selling well and has yet to release their bundles. We will see a spike in PS4 sales still this month so its definitely not a given that the X1 has won this month. I would also say that despite what other forum posters think even if the X1 manages to win both November and December NPDs it will be nowhere near by enough units for the X1 to pass the PS4 in the US and the PS4 will still dominate WW. Exactly, the initial X1 sales spike will die down while the PS4 one has yet to happen. Its still too early to declare a winner of this months NPD.

I don't see the problem.

42.5k x ~3 = ~127.5K

I would say that's still within the margin of error.

We know that have outsold PS4 last week of October... probabily above 60K, but less than 70K in my opinion.

So, i said between 180K and 210K.

In any case 280,000 are too much...

I merely pointed out facts. You clearly have nothing to counter with so thanks for your "intelligent" contribution. I said nothing negative about the X1 nor did I say it couldn't win November, I am sorry if hearing the truth upsets you.
