Run Bootcamp, load up Windows 7, eat cake.

The Mac isn't known for it's gaming capabilities, it shouldn't be what a consumer buys into the platform for.

It doesn't matter in the case of Minecraft. Like if it is on mobile. Consumers will buy it regardless of platform.

 

Having to boot a different OS so for then to mod the game in order to add a not-official splitscreen at the expense of the system's resources seems indeed like a hassle. But hey, more power to PC gamers.
