#1. You must brood nonstop as you walk through any type of retail/grocery store if someone like this bothers you.

#2. If you have really "seen all the ads" as you claimed, you should have known exactly what the OP was referring to already.

#3. You're making a big deal about "but i wouldn't have clicked!" as if you feel your valuable time has been wasted, and yet you've spent a lot of time in here griping about semantics.

Nope. XB1 has shown to be a product that responds well to price cuts to sell units, PS4 sells regardless. XB1 is the perfect console for deals this holiday

PS4 - Sells regardless
XB1 - Responds best to price cuts
WiiU - Responds least to price cuts and is by far (in the US) the least sought after of the three.

It's a reasonable assumption without having to bring any console warz into the fray.

Especially since there is also a PS4 doorbuster item. Online anyway.

Target is going to have the Assassins creed bundle at $329 with a $50 gift card. That's an effective price of $279. The PS4 is still $399.99 but comes with GTAV and TLOUR.

Honestly couldn't care less what you think.  There's no debate here at all, really.  $329 is $329, doesn't matter what value a gift card has.

Is Halo a physical or digital copy? If physical, that's a great deal. I really wish it was available online, as the risk of being trampled outweighs the reward of thousands of hours of Halo.

I'm not arguing with the philosophy of retail, I'm arguing that fungible cash is not = to a gift card you've already purchased.  I don't understand why I even have to explain this.

Walmart.Com also has an online deal all day Thursday.

X1 Bundle (any Bundle without Kinect including the MCC bundle) SKU with any game and 1 year Xbox Live for $379.99

 

Also for PS4 they have a Walmart.Com deal for $449 you get the PS4 GTA5/TLOU bundle and 2 other games.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
