Forums - Sales - Stockpiling for Wii - When would You do it?

Retailers want anything and everything that will drive customers to the stores during the holidays. They will absolutely sacrifice non-holiday sales if they can drive customers into stores during the holidays.

The reason? Holiday customers will spend big bucks. Non-holiday customers will come into the store only to buy what they came in for.

This is retail 101 and has been going on for decades.

Its ALL business strats. Personally, I would have upped production months ago. I would probably be making 2.5 million right now. Of course a VERY close monitor of sales would need to be done. The fact is, if stores are still getting numerous calls a day (which they are), then you can expect your product to sell healthy for at least the next 6 months. There are probably a good number of people who WONT call everyday and WONT arrive at 5 am before the store opens. Its all business, baby.
