#6's predecessor |
Indeed
It's not often the sequel to an already popular and critically acclaimed title is able to live up to its expectations. It's even less common for such a game to surpass those expectations in every possible way. Uncharted 2 is one of those rare games.
The story, the gunplay, the puzzles, the graphics, the music, the set pieces, everything about Uncharted 2 was a step above its predecessor, and most other games at the time. While not my favorite entry in the series (that honour goes to UC3), it gets the 6th spot on my list because of how handedly it exceeded my expectations, and how memorable it is because of that.
Hint for #5: "It's been a looong time".
Wow I got caught up in the holidays and got way behind. Here's everything I missed guys!
15. Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3)
14. Batman: Arkham City (PS3)

11. God of War 3 (PS3)
10. Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped (PS1)
9. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3)
8. Infamous 2 (PS3)
7. Infamous (PS3)
6. Resistance 3 (PS3)
6. Mario Tennis: N64, 2000, Nintendo/Camelot
Tennis, a very simple game, but Camelot struck gold. Despite being Mario-themed, this game really had very few gimmicks, aside from the Bowser Court mode which did have items. It was sheer mechanical refinement that made this game infinitely replayable: they made Tennis *fun*, gave the world Waluigi, and linked with the Game Boy Color version so that you could raise your GBC character on the N64. Not really sure what they did right, but damn did they do it right.
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Hint for my #5
You could say it was terrifying to click on the TV to play this game
#5 - My top Tomb Raider experience. Best locales, best puzzles, challenging enough to enjoy them without frustration.... Only 4 to go, 2 from the same franchise
