PlayStation game... Think outside the box... With 'outside' and 'box' in italics... You mean like, 'outside' the game?  Transending the 4th barrier so to speak? The only series I can think of from what I heard of that does these sort of things like having to reset the console, knowing what's on your memory card and whatever, is; Metal Gear Solid.

Though I never played it so again I'm not sure. Even though my PS1 collection is my third biggest it's still grossly incomplete .

Well, you're correct. :)

After the first boss, you'll have a long cutscene on which you ask for a codec password.  However, your source doesn't remember it, but he eagerly says that you should check the back of the game box and the codec can be found written there. Indeed, there's a codec number there:

That's the only real way of getting the codec number. There's just no other way around; you either have the box or you won't progress.

Which actually screwed a lot of PSN players who downloaded the game but Konami forgot to give them the codec number (which was later added on a free digital manual), but fortunately they were on the age of Internet. You can't say the same back when this game released :P

Hah, awesome!

And that's awesome. I sure must play it someday.

Posting this after Peelman is a recipe for disaster, but here goes.

Hint for #15:

This game, believe it or not, released on N64, GCN, Wii, and, soon, 3DS.
