#19: God of War II (Santa Monica Studio, 2007) - PS2/PS3

This games does everything a sequel should do: take what worked on the first game, remove the problems and polish everything even more. The gameplay is virtually the same, but don't fix what isn't broken right? The scope of the game is even bigger (as it should be), and it shows right at the first boss, the Colossus of Rhodes. Also, Kratos controls more fluently. This time, the plot even involves time travel. If you wanna take it really seriously, it doesn't make sense (paradoxes, paradoxes...), but who cares? It's pretty entertaining shit. The soundtrack really fits the epic style of the game perfectly, and there are tracks I actually enjoy listeing to casually. Plus, the game ends with a giant cliffhanger, making sure the hype for GoW3 would be gigantic.

In conclusion, one hell of a swansong. (disagree all you want, Persona 4 fans) though I haven't played the game actually

The protagonist, still believes that Santa Claus exist. And one of his teammates mocks him because of it.

Second hint for the game #18: The bosses on this game are named after the process a larvae goes thru to become a butterfly.

You are Wright.

And yet even without final exams, i still neglect this.

21: Mario Kart 64: Still the top-ranked from that franchise despite being objectively worse than the others on the list. Nostalgia factor wins big here, go figure.

20: Zelda: The Wind Waker. Second highest in this case, the beautiful ambiance and the sheer scope of the game create a winning experience despite how easy it also is.

19: Super Smash Bros. Lowest in this case, but the game that began it all. The formula for endless playability and the game that drew me towards many new, different franchises.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
