#20 - Mega Man 9

Haven't played it yet, I know people love this game, and having enjoyed the original NES "trilogy", I'll possibly really like this game. But I can't help but feel both it and MM10 were a step back.

Yeah yeah, 8-bit has its charm and there's a lot of nostalgia associated with it for many people. But I'd much rather have a beautiful art style for this game. It reeks of nostalgia trap to be honest. And if MMX9 ever happens, it'll probably be 16-bit... oh well.

Mega Man 10 was a bit of a disappointment, not a bad game by any means but it just did a lot of things worse than 9 and as a whole wasn't that memorable. Endless Mode is fun though. I would consider checking them out though, their probably pretty cheap by now.

Oh, I do plan on getting to them. Like I said, I had a great time with MM1-3, so I'll play the entire series. But going back to 8-bit will be kinda disappointing.

But they are more expensive than I'd like it to be. 10 dollars each on PSN (or a bundle for $15).

Edit: ooooh, but I just remembered they were given for free on PS Plus. My subscription expired, but once I renew it, I'll be sure to check them out.

Ico (PS2, 2001)

guessed by TruckOSaurus

As someone who enjoys exploration and puzzle-solving, I loved my time with Ico. Although the game is relatively short, it left a deep impression on me. Playing as a young boy born with horns, players in Ico will explore the crumbling ruins of a derelict castle, solve environmental puzzles, scale walls, and escort a princess to safety. Less concerned with action than its spiritual successor Shadow of the Colosuss, Ico still manages to challenge its players with a number of physical and mental hurdles. It's a one-of-a-kind experience that ranks among the best Playstation games of all time.

#22 - Walker between the worlds. Voodoo. Liveside and Deadside. Michael LeRoi.

#20 - A RPG sequel that might look a bit thin with its content

#19 - The third game in this famous run and gun series

#19 - My least favorite Uncharted game. Played them all last year, trying to catch up with PS3 exclusives. Heard a lot about the series, but didn't know what really to expect. In my mind, I thought this series is a Tomb Raider-style game, so at first I was very disapointed to learn it is nothing like TR (the franchise in general, not the reboot itself). Too much shooting and killing, and not enough puzzles, I complained.

But once I actually realized it was not supposed to be TR-clone, I understood that it is an amazing game, and that for a 7 year old game looks and plays great.

My wife also enjoyed watching me play and helping me along, so we played the other two in short succession, and now UC4 cannot come soon enough.
