Hint for #26:

This is the game I referenced in one of my earlier posts in this thread: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6825683

This enhanced version features new modes and color graphics.

Cave Story +?

No, but I really want to play that game!

Here's another hint: nine years passed between the original and the enhanced version.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD?

Signature goes here!

I'm a little behind here, so I'll double post my #27 and 26
...or triple post, counting this one.

#27: Metroid: Zero Mission (Nintendo, 2004) - GBA

One day I decided to play Metroid, starting with this one. I quickly played all the others I could one after another (that means only two more games, sadly). Thank God they did this remake, because the original game is unplayable. Too bad they'll never do the same for Metroid 2, but at least we have than fan-made remake on the way (which looks delicious btw). Everything here is so fun and so polished, and that extra section at the end they added is one of the most tense shits I've ever played. This game is virtually tied with the next one btw.

#26: Metroid Fusion (Nintendo, 2002) - GBA

"Metroid 4"as the title screen proudly claims. And well worthy of that title. I'm aware many people dislike the more linear approach and the heavier focus on story here, but I love it. It makes it more fast-paced, and seeing as I find the Metroid lore/setting pretty interesting, a game with a little more focus on a good story appeals to me. Then there's SA-X. Holy shit, that was creepy. The parts where you have to run for your life, DAMN that was intense.

I have one question though. WHERE'S MY METROID 5 GODDAMMIT?! Jesus, it's been TWELVE YEARS, and nothing. It's even more painful because the ending of this game leaves some VERY interesting implications for a sequel, but oh no, let's not make a direct sequel. Instead, let's make a FPS FOR THE NINTENDO DS, and a game that takes place after Super Metroid. Bastards.

Yes. That was a lazy hint, I was expecting someone to guess it quickly

Bingo!

I never saw you as a survival horror kind of guy. These past days have taught me how wrong I was. :P
