I'm trailing behind, again!

These are the ones so I can get with the times.

37. Fahrenheit (It's a shame no one guessed this one. In what other game furniture can give you a heart attack, playing explosive hide and seekand fighting bugs over the office ;P)

36. Shenmue 2

35. Silent Hill 2

34. Vanquish

33. Fable 2

32. Infamous 2

Now for the #31 hint:

Beating this sequel on the hardest difficulty granted you a different ending, where someone who supposedly dies manages to live.

Shadows of the Empire?

Also, I would like to make an special mention to this game:

no.34: VANQUISH

Developed by Platinum Games

Released in October 19th, 2010, for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360

Vanquish is a different kind of third-person shooter. Unlike most of these that spawned throughout the seventh gen, in Vanquish you're awarded if you rush towards the enemy instead of taking cover; if you face the enemy fearless instead of using petty tactics; if you put the emphasis in obliteration rather than slow-paced strategy. Vanquish is the definition of an HD arcade machine game made for consoles. I wouldn't be surprised if the game asked me to Insert Coin at some point. While short (regrettably, but it comes with the territory), my time with Vanquish was awesome and enjoyable. A game that will be forever stuck with me. If only, oh! the game had some kind of closure. It is completed with a cliffhanger for the sequel that, given the sales and SEGA's interest, will never be made. At least we can always try doing the Vanquish's tactical challenges, which are an insane exercise of will and skill.

No, the game is way more recent (think of sixth gen). The character I'm talking about is a woman who develops a love interest with the protagonist.

I see now that I read over the word 'sequel', so then it's obviously not Shadows of the Empire... I'm not sure, gonna need some more thinking .

Hint #30. This game follows a new angle on the same story.

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

  31

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

   System: PC
   Genre: First-Person Shooter
   Year: 2002
   Rank last year: 34 (^ 3)

Technically, this is a first-person shooter game, though it's probably best player as a third-person hack-'n-slash. Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is all about being a Jedi, and overcoming all your enemies with your proficiency with a Lightsaber, likely the coolest weapon ever invented, and usage of the Force. Of course, you can choose to use the regular weapons for the whole game, but who wants that?

The game features an entertaining story taking place in roughly the same timespan as the new movie will. It's long after the Empire and Palpatine were defeated, yet remnants of that Empire and people loyal to Palpatine still remain. being a Star Wars game, the game isn't short on great locations and amazing music, but it's the polished gameplay that shines here. The Lightsaber combat and some of the battles are beyond epic.

I always liked the fact that a Lightsaber duel could take seconds or hours, depending on how good you were. It just takes a precise, clear slash on the opponent to defeat him (Same goes for you, even with the HP bar).

Nope! I was unaware that Off the Record existed, it sounds interesting though.
