You mean $80 once season 3 comes. The roster will still stand at 16 after this season is complete.

$20 per season, with 8 characters. 3 X $20 = $60. You don't need to buy the custom clothes or classic KI, I didn't because I don't want those.

Also, it seems this season is getting 9 characters.

Touche.

I'm still paying $80 in all because i'm buying ultra. For those who are interested in the combo breaker, yes its $60 for all three seasons. Since there is no Killer Instinct three to add to the bundle I hope they cut the price of Season 3 down to $30.

Not really, just doing the very simple math for you.

And that's nice, I'm sure plenty of retail games were $80+ for some people because they wanted the extras. Fact is if you want the extras you (shock horror) have to pay for them.

I remember getting the first two (real) Killer Instinct games. When you bought those, you got the entire game, right away.

True story.

Yeah. People are getting nickel and dimed for an incomplete product. I'm a fan so I dont complain as long as I can play it.

Ugh no. In the end you'll pay $60 for 24 characters which has been the status quo for years.

I don't think there's necessarily nine, the "?" figure hinted at in the end of the season 2 trailer is presumably the real final boss that was hinted at if you beat Shadow Jago in season 1 arcade

Opinions will be opinions. Thanks for the help but I just wanted the premium skins (Retro KI, etc), which I would one should earn, but hey thats just me. I didn't even need the old games. If you buy the premium skins by themselves it costs. I don't even need the old games. You might as well buy the premium edition with everything because buying the costumes one by one is more expensive. Does that make any sense?

OP, just to make you aware there is a retail copy for Season One!!

Since I can't seem to find an answer, I'll ask here.

If I buy KI Season 2, do I also get the Season 1 characters? Or do I have to buy both?

Now that your question has been answered, how good are you at fighters? Street FIghter to be specific.

I don't really like fighting games, haven't liked one since like Tekken 2. However, I am enjoying KI... ALOT.

To answer your question, I would imagine not very good.

Please don't compare those games to KI3.

The reboot is just the best in the series. The other ones were good for their era, however, comparing them with the last one is just lack of knowledge.

Ouch. I recommend dojo highly to you then. It will be your best friend in this game. This game forces you to get into combo mastery. KI is one of the fighters that demands all of your wits. Its not like the others at all. Thats one of the reasons I absolutely love it, but the great part if you can face novices too if you set the online settings up the right way.

I'm pretty average right now. My only problem is maintaining a combo. I usually do a opener, heavy auto, medium auto, linker, and then an ender. Too hard for me to cotinue because it's just so many button combinations to press.
