So after the direct it looks like Wii U will have a steady flow of titles 1 in Q1 and Q2 and there is enough we know of before for there to be in the other half of the year.So how well do you think the Wii U will do in 2015?

Yea, I think the wiiU will do better than 2014 then cause we had a huge draught of games for q1 and q2 for the wiiU in 2014 but if we have Mario Maker, Splatoon, Kirby, Yoshi and MK8 DLC for Q1 and Q2 followed by X, Starfox, Zelda U and whatever unannounced game for Q3 and Q4, it will do awesomely!

Actually, now i'm a litle worried about yoshi. I find strange that he not got mentioned in this direct. If he got delayed, we will problably end up with a pretty similar line up to the one from this year: Something in 2 games in two monthes far apart, and some digital goods here and there.

Based on what I've seen so far, I don't see anything to really spark Wii U sales, unless Amiibo blows away my expectations. I think Splatoon has the potential, but the marketing will be very tricky. Could be a big hit that sells like 5 million, or could be a flop that sells 500K.

Mario Maker is another wildcard. In essence, it's Little Big Planet, but it seems a lot more accessible. If Nintendo does a good job in making the UGC thing accessible, this could be a huge hit for Nintendo....... or it could be something that simply appeals to long term fans.

Smash of course will have a similar long term effect to Mario Kart and the combination of the 2 should raise the baseline significantly.

How the Wii U does long term depends. Zelda is going to have to be amazing, and they NEED a big casual title to really turn things around.

Most of Nintendo's big hitters would be out in 2014... Ie) MK8 and Smash.

Splatoon, Kirby, Yoshi, Mario Maker, X, and Zelda aren't going to push THAT many units (Zelda will be a slight exception).

This picture has 9 games for 2015, and if you count Mario Party 10, Captain Toad (for Europe), Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem (possibly), Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Project Cars, and Devil's Third, the total is 15 games for 2015. (14 for North America) Plus, there is also future Nintendo Direct's and E3 2015 with games possibly unnanounced, so we might get even more games for 2015! I don't even think they will need Animal Crossing until 2016 if the lineup has this many games for first party alone for Wii U in 2015. Heck, if 2016 will have this many games, the Wii U might even reach 12 TWENTY million consoles sold!
