Curiously though we have WiiU outselling XB1 in August?!

NPD shows 160k XB1 sold and 60k~ WiiU sold. Japan was 60k~ for WiiU in August.

Obviously XB1 still needs adjusting up a few hundred K end of September, so this is where some of the discrepency lies.

I think it has been tracked properly since the Madden bundle released late august.

The question is, how well did X1 really sell June to mid August? I think a lot of likely buyers held out for these bundles with games already packed in (Madden, CoD and SO) because they're clearly a better value.

WiiU appears to have already been adjusted.

We know X1 had something of a drought over the summer.

WiiU needs further adjusting, and XB1 needs adjusting up, but I am not denying sales were dismal for both during the summer.

I made this thread because it was the endless weeks of WiiU > XB1 that gave some the impression WiiU was gonna keep second place and beat XB1.

In the end it managed 3 weeks (and then another 4 later on but it's my opinion further adjustments will eliminate these).

so wii u needs to sell >40k in europe and xb1 zero units anywhere else outside of the us to make that happen

maybe u made a mistake and used the last week from july tracking period and missed the last week form august!?

vgc august sales:
wiiU --> 199k
xb1 --> 229k

still low gap, but could! be possible

edit: woul result in 80k wii u salse in europe. seems overtracked. europe is smaller than us for nintendo in general
