the Star Fox series past 64. I still like them, and i'll still buy them, but they havnt been as epic.

Halo2 and Halo3, they never lived up to want i wanted in terms of single player/co-op. They were good games but #1 changed console FPS and the rest of the series was a let down for me.

I also loved Need for Speed 3&4 and the ones after that sucked. 

another vote for chrono cross.  It wasn't a bad game it's just that when you're comparing it to gaming perfection (thy name is chrono trigger) it just falls short.

I think I would have to second that.

I don't play a lot of games, so I don't get hit with a lot of sequels. I haven't seen a lot of bad movie sequels, because most movies I like aren't made into sequels. I haven't seen National Treasure 2 yet, which might or might not ruin the first one for me.

But Spider-Man 3 was such a disappointment. In so many ways.

Chrono Cross for me as well. It wasn't a bad game, it just had none of the feeling of Chrono Trigger.

Well the worst continuation of a series was the 4th crash bandicoot, the one on PS2. The first 3 were top notch, then the 4th one sucked balls.
