Nintendo did it right at E3. Nothing but games: no corporate talk nonsense, no awkward presentations, no forced attempts at humor, no talk about sales blah blah blah. They just sat on a couch and started playing video games and goodness what a breath of fresh air that was.

Well I consider most of the general public to be pretty dumb (people do tend to surprise me sometimes with their intelligence) so I suppose the ads have to cater to a majority of people.
