Forums - Gaming - Eurogamer: COD: Advanced Warfare's campaign runs more smoothly on XB1 than on PS4

I will get the Xbox One version as a solid FPS is vital in a game this, it's a sad day when they have obviously given the PS4 1080P priority over it's FPS, I blame the internet fanboy's who make out resolution is suddenly all that counts.
And now they get 1080p at the cost of the gameplay.

At the cost of gameplay ovet couple drops in one chapter of a game?  Lol the game has a couple drops to 50 fps. In only 1 chapter.  The rest of the campaign is solid ad is MP.  What's sad is you turning this into a console war.  X1 has tearing,  crushed blacks and 40 percent lower red.  The ps4  version is solid throughout.  Read the article before commenting

lol Respawn did the same with Titanfall but it is fine for you.

Of course there is no Titanfall version like you are cherry picking because Respawn choose Resolution over framerate... it is too obivous to you don't see that.

Of course there isn't. They released one game and it is the way it is. Thank you for finally admitting it.

Now, if we can move past the nonsense, please answer what I asked previously. In this situation, would you rather Sledge implement an at all times full HD resolution, even if it means the frame rate is not as good as the other version of the game, or would you rather see what the other version got with dynamic resolution but a solid frame rate as a result? Just curious to see if you'd actually prefer a prettier game to a better running game.

There is no way to spin this.  You clearly are showing a bias.  Redrawn did it with Titan fall of that game has even worse drops.  Everything else is spin.

"PS. The Titanfall resolution was upped after the Alpha... they choose to up the resolution instead to optimize the framerate... the Alpha ran at 720p."

lol what fits you agenda... btw 792p was choose near the launch of the game due the resolution criticism in the internet.

They cleary choose resolution over framerate.

It is too obivous.

So if you want to be mad with one case... be mad with all.

That is what is called nonsense.

Can't even answer the simple question, LOL.

By the way, no one is mad. Thanks for the laughs though, friend. Not gonna derail the thread with nonsense.

I love the reason lol

Game A with bad framerate = It was ok... devs are amazing
Game B with dips but not near bad framerate like game A = Fucking devs... they needed to choose framerate over resolution

Everybody know in this thread why... and it is laughale.

And pleople call me bias (that I'm btw)...

Well for starters in this scenario, "Game A" doesn't have a "bad" frame rate.

Secondly, the difference is the developers of Game B released two versions of the game, one with dynamic resolution and one without. I am simply saying they both should have prioritized frame rate. Apparently this confuses the hell out of you though LOL.

The funny part is "we" are arguing about some drops in rare situations in the SINGLE PLAYER Campaign.

The Multiplayer, which is as far as im aware the most played part of the game is rock solid 60fps in 1080p native on the PS4 while it isn't on the X1(lower Res).
The Developers didn't choose anything over something on the PS4.It gets both perfectly done.Devs prioritized both.
The most important part of the game is best played on the PS4

It is really bad... it looks even worst with you compared with CoD PS4 dips.

Cod on ps4 doesn't have a bad frame rate.  You are reaching.  It's in the article.  A couple drops to 50 in the first chapter only is perfectly fine for sp.  Will be patched as it is.  Titan fall was way worse.  MP is steady 60 as us 99% of sp.
