Forums - Microsoft - MS Fire Sale is Working.

Sony could perhaps try to capitalize in 2015. No doubt the Xbox One's sales will drop sharply if the price goes back up to $400 (MS may decide to make the price cut permanent, however).

Sony can still use their Price-Drop-Card whenever they feel the need. And 2015 may be the perfect time, should MS increase the Xbox's price back up.

What? The price cut isn't permanent? That doesn't make sense. I'm sure it will be. But perhaps only for the vanilla console, post holidays bundles will be $400 perhaps, so that MS doesn't have to pay 3rd parties to give away a game with a console ticket price of $350.

Sony can't afford to lose money, they are losing money all over, accept on PS4. So they do need the profits overall.

They are doing just fine with out a reaction.

It is about time MS starts getting some sales. Maybe they will take this as a sign to keep the Exclusives coming. Yes the Sale is working but I also think people are taking a look at all the great exclusives coming. So lets hope this trend continues and Xbox one has one of the best gens of First party franchises.

Looking at the hourly amazon it seems MS blew their load too early.

Sony obviously thought it was pointless fighting against COD & AC bundles plus MCC release along with SO bundles and a big price cut.

Maybe they were right because for the last 2 days the momentum has begun to swing and this is still without Sony doing anything. November has now become a fascinating month.

#8 X1 Unity Bundle $349
#13 PS4 Standalone $399
#26 X1 Limited COD Bundle $449
#38 PS4 Destiny Bundle $449

Rest are below 50 so selling very little. Sony def have a chance if they release a good BF bundle.

Good bye CoD and Sunset bundles, good bye forever. All the excitement was fun while it lasted but it's time to return to reality.

Not usually one to say I told ya so...but I told ya so.

The only bundles currently in stock on Amazon store are AC & COD.  COD is $449 and has bad reviews, that's why is low now. AC has discounted price and good reviews, so it's maintaining it's top 10.

The regular Xbox 1 is selling at a higher price than AC bundle due to shortage at Amazon.

BF is gonna be crazy because I'm pretty sure they have specific inventories for Black Friday. Bundles like: Halo+COD, FH2+FM5, Fifa15+GTA will surely move units.

And if you move from the realm of Amazon to Best Buy, you'll see that MS didn't "blow their load" too early. They might have some blue balls for BF ready to blow.

Sony is reeling them in without doing anything. Once MCC & AC hits the ball will be in SOnys court after about the 15th. I beleive they will win that half easily. A lot of PS4 fans waiting to buy however I think a lot of X1 fans who were waiting have now gone ahead and gotten theirs. The battle will be very close.

Problem for Ms us Sony has not unleashed there  bundles yet.... When they do it will sell like crazy.  Black Fri alone they can sell enough to easily make up for the spike ms got this week.  Ps4 is doing well now with no bundles..... Sony is rumoured to be having some big bundles coming
