Nintendo has never been shy of new IPs. In fact last gen there was hardly another publisher with so many new IPs.

Those are conviently overlooked by many since none of those sold over a million copies.

More like those are conveniently overlooked by many since they break the delusion that Nintendo stopped caring about audiences that don't live in nursing homes last gen.

New IPs don't tend to do as well as established ones.

Not all developers get the lucky grace and coverage that Naughty Dog seems to have.
