Crysis is published by EA. NOW does anyone think it'll be exclusive to PS3? I'll put 90% on a 360 version, and 50% on a Wii and PS2 combo version, and 25% on a DS version.
I don't get what they were trying to say. Are they adding in 50% more content to the full game, or are they erasing 50% of the original game and creating half of a new game?
I believe Crytek is independent, but I am not sure
@Munkeh - Yeah, but I believe that EA own the rights to the Crysis name. So they could just get another developer to make another game in the Crysis name.
i think the PS3 version, if it happens, needs a brand new engine. An engine specifically optimized for the CELL. So call it CryEngine CELL or something like that.

The PS3 has a potential processing advantage over PC setups:
Scientists:
"its highly plausible that the raw computing power per dollar that the PS3 offers, is significantly higher than anything else on the market today!"
Referring to the 6 SPEs available under Linux:
"Overall, a single PS3 performs better than the highest-end desktops available and compares to as many as 25 nodes of an IBM Blue Gene supercomputer."
Some Resistance 2 related quotes from Insomniac:
"Conclusions
* It's not that complicated.
* Good data and good design works well on the SPUs (and will work well anywhere)
-Sometimes you can get away with bad design and bad data on other platforms
-...for now. Bad design will not survive this generation.
*Lots of opportunities for optimization."

fixed.
If they design it purely for PS3, they should be able to get good results, which is why they may be hesitant on making it for PS360, where they have the complications of porting, and I would assume the 360 is less capable of handling it
