I don't get it. He said the soundtrack is unlocked by beating Bayonetta. If he has unlocked the soundtrack, hasn't he beaten the game?

I'm guessing he's still waiting on his copy to arrive from Amazon and he just looked up some non-spoiler info to get himself hyped.

Yup, you actually have to deal with the nuisance of playing and beating the game to unlock the extra content instead of just paying for it. I don't know what were they thinking doing this on a PS360 game.
Yes, there are a few things behind the Sega content in the game, some have hints in the game, others haven't.
