Reread my original clarification, 1 million in the UK a couple of weeks ago (VGChartz data was way off before adjustment), only Sony indication we have is 20-22% (consumer sales should happen at the same ratio as retailers are selling them unless they for some reason want to stockpile which seems unlikely).

Extrpolate, add extra weeks of sales for the UK (and other SCEE countries) and add other countries not covered and it doesn't seem impossible than the PS3 has crossed 5 million in "others".

Sony has the full GfK figures, the statements are surely based on them.

Based on Chart Track for sure, you underestimate the professionalism of MCV, they get the full data from Chart Track as well.

Just a collection of interesting quotes to fence off 360 fanboy claims. I am mostly a Cell enthusiast and would love to see the chip implemented in other devices. Can't wait for Resistance 2 myself.
