Blue = Online
Yellow = Busy
Red with X = Offline

What am I suppose to be seeing here?

The dots before the name indicate someone's status. Blue = online, red with white X = offline, yellow = ? For some reason 2.0 also adds a blue dot next to your friend counter in the PS4's menu, which only adds to the rumor that you can change your status.

no you couldn't pause downloads until now, it downloaded them all automaticaly in the background

Yeap.

Well, that makes sense now. I just assumed you could set your status on PS4 just like you could on PS3. Bizarre that they forgot to include that at release.

Lots of basic features were/are missing. Themes, friend notifications, change status. 3 features you'd expect at launch...
