Unfortunately, it is simply too late. I absolutely love my Vita(have 3 OLED models) but even I know that it cannot be saved. Making a GTA/Gran Turismo/COD/Infamous exclusive for Vita would require millions of dollars(unless you want half-effort titles like COD: De-classified, even that would have cost a fair bit). The current user base is simply not large enough to warrant the risk. Aside from J-RPGs, hardly any Vita title sells well enough to even show up on the charts. It is no wonder that no Vita game has managed to reach the graphical level set by Uncharted:GA even 2 years on, the risk : reward ratio is simply too high. Uncharted : GA still looks absolutely amazing to this very day, everyone who I show the game to freaks out. But the only way Rockstar, Activision etc would make a Vita exclusive AAA title now is it Sony partially funded it. And Sony seem to have left the Vita behind sadly... It is such an amazing piece of hardware, especially the OLED model. Definitely a greater shame than the Virtua Boy, Atari Jaguar, 3D0.

Well then the commercial idea can still be possible if you put a bunch of high schoolers that are 17+

If i saw a commerical like that when i was a kid i'd be wanting that and will be trying to get my friends to join in.

That is false, Killzone: Mercenary far surpasses Uncharted: Golden Abyss in terms of graphics. Killzone: Mercenary looks very similar to Killzone 2, one of PS3's best-looking game of the last decade, while Uncharted: Golden Abyss loks like the original which isn't quite as good.

I actually have a similar list myself.

No game will really make a dent in the west at this stage but many of those such as Jak 4 and Dark Cloud 4 could have made a big difference in its first 2 years. RPGs, platformers and action adventures game. That is what handhelds made their name on.

None of the games in the OP except Monster Hunter would be a system seller. Vita needs games designed for the portable crowd.

-A version of GTA (San Andreas?)
-A Pokemon rip off that is actually addictive
-Some really well received exclusive JRPG (not a re-release)
-A new Final Fantasy Tactics

And no online FPS style game is gonna work. Who plays online on a portabe?
