Forums - Sony - Playstation 3 help (What video formats does it support?)

I am buring a data disc for a mate on a normal blank disc (not DVD) and am wondering what format I should be converting video files into for playback, anyone know?

Around the Network

BD-ROM (data and BDAV), BD-R, BD-RE, DVD-ROM, DVD-R/DVD-RW (CPRM, VR mode included), DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW.

So no VCD (I don't Think)

VIDEO

MPEG-1, MPEG-2 (PS,TS), H.264/MEPG-4 AVC, MPEG-4 SP

MUSIC

ATRAC (.oma .msa .aa3), AAC (.3gp .mp4), MP3 (.mp3), WAV (.wav)

IMAGES

JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF

"Back off, man. I'm a scientist."

Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable! You are a poor scientist. Especially if you think the moon landing was faked.
