water + electrical device = fail

whats next, are you going to try to clean the inside of the computer with a brick?

Hey nice idea. If it was affected by the electrcity i doubt the k/b would work at all.

not exactly, each key is set on a contact sensor. The keys that work didn't have their contact sensors wet when you plugged the keyboard in.

Why didn't they work before I dried it ? Also how would it affect more than one key being hit per stroke.

thwey were dying due to the contact sensoris going bad. I have the same problem. My L . I space and K keys are all going bad.

 So it's not savageable?

I'm just gonna use the on screen for the keys tat don't work.

Tis is what I abet for each key
q w e r t y] ui ui o p [ y] \ a s d f gb noting jk jk l ; '/ z x c v b n m, . /
Tat is only for letters.

How much did you pay for it? If its only cheap then bin it and get a new cheap one. If you decide to clean your new one in the future then do as Fazz says and use isopropyl alcohol.

I took out all of the keys to my keyboard to clean it. When cleaning it I used water. I put the keys back in plugged into my computer after it was mostly dried. The backspace button didn`t work then while trying to get it to work other buttons wouldn`t work. Now only cap locks works. I tried drying it more but I only got a and enrer to work. When plugging it into something only 1 green light the caps turns on. Then I opened it nd dried the plastic sheets itha hairdryer. Now most keys work but some use two keys such as jk when pessing k or don't work such as h. I am using an onscreen keyboard for now and won't beable to get a newkeyboard for dys. Is this keyboard still savagable? I'm sure I can get the rest to work. Any recommendatons? Yes I know I'm stupd. My keyboard is a dell L100/usb.

Yahoo Answers answered it for you I believe.

Yahoo told him to bake it in the oven.

"Back off, man. I'm a scientist."

Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable! You are a poor scientist. Especially if you think the moon landing was faked.
