Just listened too it, they said Brawl was gonna be "up in the 9's" and "don't worry".

They said that the only reason anyone wants to know is to either hate them, or confirm their own opinion.

Looks like 9.0 or up from IGN most likely, according to that podcast.

lol, I hate IGN, but I do kinda like that podcast. Don't like their opinions in reviews sometimes, but the podcast is funny, and you get inside tracks on upcoming Wii reviews from IGN. :P

I just wish they could stay on schedule and release one every friday instead of maybe friday.

i actually listen to and like every ign podcast even though i only own a wii.

the only podcast i wouldnt listen to is the pc one (if it ever comes back). nothing against it, pc just isn't my thing.

I stopped caring about individual reviews a while ago, my rule is if a game generally gets 8s or above from most reviewers I'll look into getting it. Whether a game gets 9.2 or 9.3 doesn't really matter to me. I rely on myself to judge games now.

 Same.  I usually look at Metacritic or Gamerankings scores and talk to friends.  Thats what wins me over with games now.  

Oh and by the way, Wasnt it obvious IGN was going to give Brawl a 9 or higher? Regardless, people will still complain.  If it gets less than a 10 "OMG I shud have gotten a 10!!!!111oneone" and if it gets a perfect 10 (which it wont), you wil hear "Wtfz Brawl is purfeck and desserves teh 10 rat1ng!!" 

they've said all along they don't think it's quite as good as prime 3 (9.5) or galaxy (9.7). a 9.2/9.3 is very likely and in no way bad.

gamerankings is the best. i dont care for metacritic and the weighted reviews. dreamcast owners got screwed if they read ign back in the day, haha. they gave like every game 8+.

I can see them taking off just a little bit from the score because its fairly similar to melee without huge innovations. im gonna say 9.4

edit: i know theyve added lots of new characters and added some other features (like final smash),

but i mean fairly similar in that if youve played melee with link you will be able to play with him in brawl easily and the basics are the same.
