Destiny is unplayable for me. I keep getting error codes at the start of the game. Its funny a lot of people protested about always online but this game is always online and a lot of people embrace it despite its many problems.

I'm not kidding about checking your store's price matching/return policy.

The X1 has, and will have tons of great games. It's not my preference but I'm not downing your pick at all.

But I would be SERIOUSLY shocked if we don't see some face-melting X1 deals within the coming weeks. Deals that are so good I would personally wait on buying one if I wanted one.

But yeah at the very least, keep your receipt, find out what the price match limitations are, and you might even return to the store you got it from to go buy it from another store that does longer price-matching guarantee.

IIRC, Target's price match guarantee is effective from Nov 1st to Dec 21st, so you could buy your X1 on Nov 1st, then if X1 gets a $299 price drop + 2 games that is advertised anywhere, you could turn your $399 bare X1 deal into a $100 refund check and 2 free games! $220 worth of value just for being patient ;)

Obviously, $299 might not happen, but $349 seems definitely possible, and strong bundling (maybe 1 free year XBLG, free 2nd controller, yadda).

We DO know they will have killer deals, we just don't know what exactly they will be yet.

$449 X1 w/Kinect and Titanfall
$499 X1 w/Kinect and Forza
$399 X1 no game
$399 X1 and Madden
