I just updated the list. A lot of games that were basically vaporware were removed. It gives the list a cleaner look and a better idea at what can be expected in 2008. Two major releases, APB and Alan Wake were moved into the 2009 section and a Viva Pinata sequel was added in there also. Some release dates were changed. I added new pics in and made 2 larger pics as opposed to 3 smaller ones. Infinite Undiscovery finally got a release date in August so it's been added to the list.

On a sidenote, this is for those still bitching about games being on this list that are also on PC. What you must understand is, many gamers do not play games on their PCs. A PC is not a console. Many people have no problem owning all three consoles and still won't game on their PC. Because of this reason I have these games on the list. It's not meant to be an illusion to show more exclusives than are really there. Each game is labeled whether it's on the PC because those that are interested can pick them out of the pack. I wanted to show what exclusive advantage a 360 had over a Wii and PS3, because for most gamers, those are the only three machines they will consider purchasing, and this was made for those wondering about purchasing a 360. I also believe handhelds should be held in their own regard and not directly be comparable to consoles as far as exclusives. If you think differently, I don't care, because this is my topic.

Hey thanks for this list, its great! Just wondering where you get your release date information? I would love for those release dates to be true for Infinite, Too Human, Fable and Tales, but I cant seem to find the release dates anywhere, even on the official websites. Thanks.

The release dates come from IGN.com. I was a bit surprised about some of the dates myself, but if it's wrong I'm sure they'll change it soon enough.

Nice list! I didn't think the 360 had much of a lineup this year, but there are actually a lot of games I'm interested in, and that doesn't include the multi-plats. The nice thing is that theres is at least one good game in each major genre, except for racing it looks like.

Exclusive racers aren't on the shopping list this year unfortunately, but with Burnout Paradise out for arcade racing fans and Grid coming out for simulation fans, there's still plenty on the market this year. There's always the offshot Microsoft announces Rallisport Challenge 3 for later this year, but don't count on it.

I've just updated the list again today with the announcements of Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise for September, Zoids Assault for August and the official name of Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts which is still due in Q4 2008 with a rumor of November circulating. Damn, it really sucks owning a 360 this year. Nothing good's coming out.

ok lets cut the BS 2 seconds...... 360 or PC anyway at the end it's MS OS exclusive lol so yeah it's an exclu for MS anyway you want to take it :P

also did they really choose the name nuts and bolts for bajo kazooie?it already reminds me of  Rtahcet and clanck and now with blots and nuts it remindes me of R&C even more.(even though I think, to my eyes, R&c looks abit better graphically).I am sure banjo will also strugle to sell since 360 fans are even more hardcore than PS3 fans,,don't you think so?

well what I'm thinking is, that generation the gamers on XB and PS3 are unsatisfied morons... they always find a way to bash a game that even with twice the flaws 5 years ago would have been acclaimed.... just because we are in HD people expect the best graphics the best story the best of everything... and never get satisfied if not all of those targets are achieved...

it's like a big pissing contest.... and don't even take the time to actually enjoy playing....

now about alan wake... yeap I still wait for that game.... the weather mechanics were amazing back to the last time they show us a vid.... the lighting looked bad ass too.... and the spirit of a silent hill mixed with old school alone in the dark seemed to be there too... if they are really working at it to be good and not just taking their time or having financial or technical problems that game could be a new survival horror IP

about BK i really think it's going to be a failure... not that the game won't be good but because of that pissing contest attitude.. "yeah I'm a die hard fan they change the soul i'm not buying it".. and then all the non fan that get their influence from the fan will just mimic the attitude like parrots or monkeys you chose..... i think the direction they chose is great because i'm tired of platformers that try to get back to the roots and ABSOLUTELY NEVER SUCCEEDED... i haen't seen a single platformer on home console that equals the experience of mario 1 2 and 3 or sonic or aladin or earth worm jim etc.... and just going 3D sucks big time IMO... so games like mario on WII kameo on XB and now banjoo that try to renew the genre by changing the rules hae my complete approal een if it means losing a little bit of the original spirit... guys it was 10 years ago that time is over get over it....

and i seriously need to clean my keyboard lol
