All these are big open-world games of the year, and all are likely to sell a lot by the end of the year. But which one will sell the most in this year?

GTA V (Current-gen Versions):

+ Known to have incredible quality

+ Online players would like to carry their saves to current-gen versions

+ Has a lot more improvement over last-gen versions

- Is a port of a game released just over a year ago

- Only available on PS4 + XB1

Far Cry 4:

+ Sequel to the well-recieved Far Cry 3

+ Previous game in the series sold over 9 million units

+ Available on PS3 + PS4 + Xbox 360 + XB1 + PC

+ 1080p on PS4

- Cross-gen will limit its scope

Assassin's Creed: Unity:

+ Intends to revolutionize the series

+ Incredible scope and massive amount of NPC's due to being current-gen only

+ Previous game in the series sold over 11 million units

- Only available on XB1 + PS4 + PC

- 900p on PS4

Watch Dogs:

+ Already sold over 8 million units

+ Has good legs

+ Available on PS3 + PS4 + Xbox 360 + XB1 + PC

+ Also releasing on Wii U

- Competition will cut into its legs in the holidays

- Biggest direct competitor releasing on its biggest platform

- Releasing very close to SSB on Wii U

I think GTA V cause GTA V

Watch dogs got its legs cut off a while ago and the wiiu version wont do fuck all, specially against GTA V... FC4 and Asscreed unity will sell well just not as well as GTA V

If sony bundle ps4 with gta v, then I think it will be a holiday driver for gta v. Otherwise ACU

GTA V is just a port on PS4 + XB1, while the other three are new games. Yeah, I am only talking about new releases of this year, so I am only taking into consideration the current-gen version of GTA V which have not yet released.

Also, the last-gen version of GTA V have sold less than 3 million units combined in 2014 anyhow.

i would like to think Far Cry 4 could do it. Its something actually different. Its hard to tell what AC Unity will do as i see people possibly get AC Rogue over it, I know i am. Watch Dogs won't do much more and i don't see GTA V selling tons again. Maybe 5 or 6 million for GTA

Yea but just cause its new doesn't mean it will sell as well as a remaster although,  granted, in a lot of cases they do but GTA V is a special case imo

New AC games usually sell around 9 million units in the hloday season, and Watch Dogs has already sold over 8 million units. Even though GTA is huge I doubt it can sell that much on PS4 + XB1 this year as its just a port, and ports don't sell that well regardless of how big the franchise is.

GTA5 because it's GTA. Far Cry 3 was one of the biggest surprises of last gen and Far Cry 4 is not only its sequel but cross gen. Watch Dogs is a cross gen title. AC Unity is next gen only and the whole parity fiasco won't drop sales much, but certainly isn't doing the game any favors.

Watch Dogs has already shipped over 8 million units with actual sales somewhere close to that, and would probably sell over 9 million units by the end of the year. Do you really think that GTA V on PS4 + XB1 will outsell it this year? Its just a port, even though GTA is big. I don't think it will sell that much.
